Unit 2 - Intervention 2: A Stimulated Service Platform - Version 1

Updated: Sep 4, 2022

After the failed intervention, I researched and found a new way of solving the problem. So, I created a prototype as a stimulated Platform for testing the same targets and observing their reactions.

The Idea of a Service Platform is to help stakeholders understand how can practice Feng Shui principle in interior design and provide basic knowledge as a guideline that they can apply in their own way. This platform will organize two practices step by step and combine both principles into new practices in the contemporary design.

The idea of the service platform is to allow customers to access and follow the practice on step by step.

Research focus:

Reduce the gap conflict of workflow, and provide basic knowledge of the practice.

Research Problem:

“How can the conflict of a workflow gap between Feng Shui practice and Interior design process be reduced?”

Sensitizing Concept:

Feng Shui traditional principles, Design Theories, Collaboration, and Workflow.

This platform will be divided into 2 parts;

  1. Create "SPACE" for "Good Feng Shui"

  2. Create "OBJECT" for "Good Luck"

**Note: Link for see detail of the process of creating prototype the stimulate platform.

Step 2: Clarify

Secondly, clarify design guidelines based on five elements of Feng Shui principle, according to the customer's element.
